One of the most important aircraft systems is its electrical system, which is responsible for supplying electrical power.CSD provides the constant RPM of the generator, whose input is from the engine gearbox with different revolutions, and  keeps the output fixed at 6000 revolutions.When 6000 rpm is supplied for the generator by this part, frequency of 400 Hz, 120 volts 3 phase is created to use the electrical system of the aircraft.

CSD and GEN parts are merged together in new generation aircraft which is called Integrated Drive Generator (IDG).Boeing 737 and MD airplanes have CSD & GEN. IMA has the capability to test, repair and overhaul them.

Having expert and trained engineers and obtaining a Part 145 license (MOA) from the CAA in the C5 classification, Iranian Mahaan Airic  Company provides excellent services to the country’s air fleet. The construction of a test bench with an output speed of 15000 revolutions per minute and 250 horsepower has provided the possibility for testing all kinds of CSD & IDG & GENERATOR parts.
